Mehmet Serkan Tosun
I am a Professor of Economics and Chair of the Department of Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno. Iím also the recipient of the Barbara Smith Campbell Distinguished Professor of Nevada Tax Policy at UNR and have a number of other affiliations. Iím a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), Bonn, Germany, a research affiliate fellow of the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing at the University of Oxford, and a research fellow at the Economic Research Forum for Arab Countries, Iran and Turkey. I received my PhD in Economics from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. My research interests include public economics (public finance), economics of population and demography, political economy, growth and regional economics.
