As a learning organization, and in everything we do, the college expects that students, faculty and professional people will be sharing their knowledge and from that common activity, building opportunities for one another.COBA students receive first-rate instruction from an active and engaged faculty who are actively involved in their academic fields and professional communities. Faculty outreach regularly brings additional business professionals to lecture to our students about "real world" current business practices.

The college has an extensive scholarship program through which over $243,000 was awarded to our students last year. We are continually working to build the level of scholarship support and we take pride in the fact that so many of our students are earning grades that allow them to be eligible for these awards.

In addition to its academic activity, each of the majors in the college sponsors a student organization which works closely with its professional counterpart to provide mentoring and speaking opportunities for members. Networking with active professionals via these organizations provides a chance for our students to be recognized for their leadership skills while they are still in school, thereby increasing their ability to build successful careers.

Students in COBA are encouraged to participate in internship programs, facilitated by the College's Career Services Office. These internships are open to members of the junior and senior classes and often result in students finding full time employment prior to graduation.
