Welcome to the College of Business Administration MBA Program
at the University of Nevada, Reno. Our MBA Program is among a select group of U.S. graduate business programs
accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate
Schools of Business (AACSB), the highest level of accreditation attainable in business education.
The mission of our MBA program is to prepare outstanding men and women to be general managers, executives,
and leaders in a diverse and changing business environment. The program consists of three components:
Core – The core curriculum is designed to provide students with an introduction
to the common body of knowledge and core skills necessary to the practice of general management.
Breadth – The breadth curriculum is designed to expose, broaden, deepen and
diversify knowledge and skills in critical and emerging areas of business.
Specialization – Specialization tracks are designed to give
students the opportunity to gain expertise in particular functional or industry disciplines. Currently the
MBA program offers specializations in accounting, finance, gaming management, information technology and supply chain management.
Please note that MBA students can also pursue other areas of specialization by taking graduate courses outside
of the College of Business Administration.

enough to meet your needs, but emphasizes those skills in demand

allows you to complete your degree at a pace that fits your
